About Nely Salazar Vasquez

Nely is a well-known and successful coffee producer who has built her business up tenfold through the past three decades. Like many other producers, her parents were coffee producers in the 60’s which was a common life path during agrarian reform. Nely has been managing the farm for over 30 years producing coffee, avocados, chirimoya and raising small animals. The farm is 6 hectares total where 3 hectares are dedicated to coffee only. She has fulfilled her dreams by building a house in Cusco and sending her children to college. Nely says her favorite part of growing coffee is the time of harvest because she enjoys the camaraderie.
