About Giakanja AA

Since 2000, Giakanja washing station has been serving over 1,870 coffee producers in Nyeri. Giakanja is a cooperative and wet mill that collects and processes cherry from smallholder farms. Coffee is typically grown alongside homes on slopes or plateaus. The harvest for this region begins in October and extends through January.
