San Isidro Zoquiapam is a remote community located in the dense, mountainous terrain of the La Cañada region of Oaxaca, near the border with Veracruz. This region receives most of its climate from the Gulf of Mexico rather than the Pacific, meaning more rain and humidity throughout the year and a challenging processing environment for specialty coffee.
