About Leopoldo Quispe Quispe

Leopoldo, 64 years old, lives with his family in one of the most remote areas of Cusco, Otocani. In this town there are many farms that do not have access to the road, so they have to transport their coffee on mules walking from the farm to the first section of the road for 7 hours. Despite this obstacle, Don Leopoldo continues with his coffee production, always improving his techniques to obtain a better cup quality.
The name of his farm is Sawintuyoc, a quechua word that alludes to a fruit called Sawintu or mainly known as Guayaba, there are a lot of trees of this fruit in this area.
