In this town there are many farms that do not have access to the road, so they have to transport their coffee on mules walking from the farm to the first section of the road for 7 hours. Despite this obstacle, Don Matias continues with his coffee production, always improving his techniques to obtain a better cup quality.
The name of his farm is Chaupiplaya, a quechua word that means “half beach”, this is because there is a big river in the area, and in the low areas of this river some “small beaches” are formed.
