About Ndundu AA

Thiririka FCS is the biggest cooperative in Kiambu County. They have three different factories, Kiganjo, Githembe and Ndundu. In the last two years, the cooperative has participated in a project where they renovate the infrastructure of the different washing stations. Tiles are being put at the washing channels and tanks as well as more robust metal drying tables.
After being delivered to the washing station, the cherries are being handpicked. They are then pulped and the parchment is fermented overnight. The next morning, the parchment is being washed and separated.
The cooperative has engaged three agronomists to train the farmers. In the last two years, there has already been seen an increase in productivity and quality.
