About Las Camelias

Silvano Hidalgo is the owner of the farm “Las Camelias” he use this name because he has a big garden full of camellias, the people of the area consideres these flowers as the most beautiful ones and a promise of eternal love. He has been growing in the 10 hectares since 1950, now at his 82 years old he continues doing this labor pursuing sustainability in his farm.
He usually uses Chalum, Inga and gravileas regional trees to give shade to the coffee plantations.
