About Lidia Consuelos Montalvo

Lidia Consuelos Montalvo is one of our top producer partners in all of Southern Peru. Born in the coffee producing town of Alto Colca in 1978, she’s been cultivating coffee for several years since inheriting her family’s farm. The farm encompasses 3.25 hectares, all dedicated to coffee production.

She intersperses Typica and Bourbon varieties among shade trees, including Albizia and Pacay. After processing, she loads parchment onto mules to be delivered to the nearest access road. Lidia is a passionate coffee producer and wishes to obtain national and international recognition in the future.

The name of her farm “Parahuayniyoc” is a Quechua word that means rainy and humid place, crediting the climate of her farms with the immense quality of her coffee.
