Tablahuasi is a small town within the Ocobamba district, made up of 70 coffee-producing families. Everyone in the community speaks Quechua as their first spoken language.
Tablahuasi is the hometown of Santos who grew up growing coffee with his family and eventually inherited his farm of 16 hectares, from which only 2 are dedicated to coffee. The name of the farm is “Cielo Punku” a quechua word that means “The door to heaven”
