He inherited it from his parents in 2013, and from there he learned to grow coffee and love the excitement of coffee work.
Luis has become a local expert, one of the many farmers in Yambrasbamba who works every day under the hot sun to obtain superior quality coffees.
He also contributes to the care of his forests through sustainable and responsible agriculture by growing many native trees such as Shimbillo, Guaba, Juan Palo, Jonjoli and Huauto, which provide shade in synergy with the coffee plants.
He also grows varieties of coffee such as Caturra, Bourbon and Typica.
