About San Fernando

San Fernando town is located on the slopes of the Chuntawillka hill, where many rivers and waterfalls originate. Farms in this area are truly unique.

At first the lands of San Fernando were only used for livestock and coca cultivation, but now they are dedicated solely to the production of coffee.

The main varieties they grow are Typica, Bourbon, Caturra, and Catimor.

The producers here are passionate about their coffee work. They start every day at 5 am working on the farms with their families and practicing ancestral Inca customs such as Ayni and Minka.

Coffee is now the most important product of Inkawasi valley and a decisive factor in the economic and social improvement of the producers of the area.
